Round One of the Playoffs is In The Books!

Both Varsity teams played their First Round playoff game this week.

The Varsity Boys hosted the Carroll High School Eagles on Thursday, April 27, winning their first round playoff game 3-1 and improving to 19-4-1 on the season. Scoring started early and kept going with goals from Josh Koch (1), Daniel Reeves (1), and Ethan Ronan (1).  Goal Keepers Sully Fralish and Thomas McLaughlin did a great job.

In the Second Round, the Boys will host the St. Paul’s Saints on Tuesday, May 2, at 6:30 PM.

The Varsity Girls met the Carroll High School Eagles in Ozark on Friday, April 28.  Both teams fought hard, ending the game in a 0-0 tie.  After two overtime periods, the game was still scoreless and went to a penalty kick shootout.  During the shootout the Knights scored 4 and the Eagles scored 1, ending the game with an official score of 1-0.  Goals were made by Ashley Hayes (1), Riley Aaron (1), Ale Vazquez (1), and Claire Mills (1).  Goal Keeper Lauren Beverly made 16 saves, 2 of which were PKs.

In the Second Round, the Girls will travel to Mobile on Tuesday, May 2, to face the Faith Academy Rams at 5:00 PM.
